For the digital campaign of L’Oréal Paris Lash Paradise, I directed a spot built around a gentle passing of the torch. Slovak model and host Janka Slačková, a long time fan of the mascara, hands it to a newcomer who is only just discovering its charms. Visually I wanted the film to echo both the packaging and the promise of paradise, so we created a soft pink dreamscape in the studio, filled with shimmering rainbow reflections. Since the formula includes caring floral oils, I used falling petals as a visual motif, giving the scene a slightly surreal atmosphere that felt lush, feminine and unmistakably paradise inspired.
