Olia: The one with the Sunflower

For Garnier Olia, I directed digital campaign spots built around the experiences of real customers who have been using the haircolor for years.
We developed the campaign for three markets: Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary. Each market was represented by one real customer. I wanted their voices to guide the story, because they are the ones who understand the product best and naturally recommend it to their friends.

To capture this authenticity, I designed the shoot as a series of documentary style conversations. Instead of a strict script, I led each woman through an open interview and let her describe the product in her own words. We built a warm household setting that felt like their actual homes, which helped them speak freely and kept the testimonials honest. In the edit, these genuine moments shaped the tone of the entire campaign.

My goal was to highlight the key benefits of Olia through simple, relatable experience. The focus stayed on ease of use at home and the confidence the product gives its users. The central message "Garnier Olia: the one with the sunflower" was created as part of the agency’s conceptual work and eventually evolved into the official campaign tagline. The sunflower is a distinct, recognisable element on the packaging and one of the reasons customers never miss Olia on the shelf.
