For the Avent Share the care project we created a long format video built directly on research insights. The 7 minute spot reached 950 297 views with 80 percent of them on TV screens. Even though most viewers usually stay engaged for only a few seconds the results showed that a longer format can work beautifully when the topic and the story have real substance.
I directed three acting couples who portrayed situations shaped by findings from a broad survey among real parents. The core insight was simple and very human. Parents often do not truly listen to each other. I brought this to life through a headphone setup where partners shared thoughts they would normally keep to themselves while the other person could only react to body language. The video is woven with data from the research which gave the emotions an even stronger context.
The campaign reached 69 % of the target group of parents aged 23 to 44.
With an average view time of 3 minutes and 34 seconds and 112 000 complete views of the entire film.
